Greetings to you all in Jesus’ name.

It has been a long, painful and stressful time that we had to endure during the past few months. My sickness turned sour when doctors confirmed that there was no hope in keeping the leg that had developed a very terrible wound that wasn’t healing. My health dropped so much that I became very sick with so many complications. My HB dropped to below 4 while sugar levels were escalating as each day passed. All efforts by the doctors to control the sugar levels proved futile, until a decision was made to amputate the leg. It was a very difficult time for me and it took prayers and encouragement from you all for me to finally accept to undergo the operation.

But looking back now, I am able to smile and proudly say it was prayers and support from you all that made it worthwhile. My family and I are indebted to you all for your prayers, financial support, encouragement, the wheel chair and everything that you did for me, too numerous to mention. There is no better word to express the gratitude that we have but just to say …thank you and thank you again. Without you all, the story would be a different one.

I am now on my journey to recovery, a lot of things had to change in my lifestyle and more still needs to be done and though difficult, I am able to face the challenges before me because I have you all by my side. I have come to learn that Faith, Hope and Love makes everything possible.

May every effort of yours, great or small, yield multiple results of blessings in Jesus’ name. Life is not by grade but by Grace. Not by labour but by Favour. Not by merit but by Mercy. May the Grace, Mercy and Favour of the Lord be with you today and forever.

“For I was hungry and you gave me food, naked and you clothed me, sick and you visited me…….. In as much as you did it to the least of my brethren, you did it to me”. Matthew 25:35 - 40
