Fayre Play

The UK team has been busy in the run-up to Christmas.  First was the Christmas Fayre at Nant Coch Church in Newport where we had a stall and raised over £100 in sales and donations.

Then Hope and Market Square Church in Merthyr Tydfil put on a concert of Christmas music and poetry in aid of HHI.  It was a lovely afternoon: the choir was fantastic and the readings were a perfect complement to the songs and carols. Everyone had a marvellous afternoon, topped off with a cuppa and a warm mince pie.  And, including ticket sales, a raffle, donations, alternative catalogue, sales of cards and Christmas tree hangers, and a large bag of foreign coins and notes, the afternoon raised over £1,000.  Thank you so much Chris Powell and everyone at Hope & Market Square Church – your support for HHI is wonderful.

And finally Penylan Church in Newport had another Christmas Fayre in aid of HHI where they raised £96.
