Linfield URC Wednesday 18th January 2023
This month the Linfield URC ‘Chill and Chat’ ladies’ group have invited the gentlemen to join them on Wednesday evening January 18th, to listen to a talk about the work of Health Help International.
Jute Williams will be speaking to the members of the Lindfield church community for the first time since she has moved to Sussex. She has only been attending the church since Spring 2022 but already the kind congregation have welcomed the idea of learning about what HHI do and especially what was achieved during the September 2022 visit to Zambia. Many of the congregation read the daily online blogs which were posted while she was there with Alun Williams and Edmund Plummer. It will be an exciting evening with a new audience learning about how HHI started with the Bran flakes box donation of £12,000 which arrived on Ron Prosser’s doorstep in Newport nearly 25 years ago.
Coincidentally, also on Wednesday 18th Edmund Plummer will be traveling to India with members of the Big Picture Film Company. All being well, the next time Jute speaks to the Lindfield Chill and Chat group she will be able to show them a film of the work being done in India.
