HOME AT LAST!
We have a wonderful opportunity to help Happy Valley special school towards greater security and independence. Happy Valley’s reliance until now on rented premises has become problematic. However, all is not lost as Philip Mathew (Director of Happy Valley and the Banyan Tree) has located an ideal plot of land where a permanent home can be built. The cost of the land is approximately £50,000. Philip is confident that he can raise about £20,000 in India, and he has asked HHI UK if we can raise the remaining £30,000. A number of regular supporters have promised us about half of this already, enabling us to offer match-funding – will you help us raise the remaining £15,000?
If we raise more money than we need, the excess will be used towards the construction of the building.
In the unlikely event that we are unable to raise the money, all donations will be used for other projects at our two special needs centres, Happy Valley and Asha Kiran.
