thanal house ladies enjoy a concert

Here at Health Help International we are always looking for innovative ways to improve the lives of the people that we help.

Thanal House is a home and refuge for destitute women who have been rescued from the streets. We have supported their work for many years.

The women help around the home, but there isn’t much for them to do in the evenings. A local choir had offered to come and give a monthly concert, but they had no-where for them to sit.

Our Scottish supporters provided £300 which was enough to buy 44 chairs. The concert went ahead – it was a great success, and a good time was had by all. An added bonus is that it raises the profile of the home in the area – we are hoping that this will help them to raise more money in India as a result. Thank you Strathaven!
