Abergavenny Food Festival

Health Help International (HHI) was invited by Castle Street United Reformed Church   Abergavenny to hold a craft stall at the Food Festival. Generously they offered HHI the foyer so passersby could see our stall and children’s activities.  In addition, the Chapel doors were open so visitors could enter “The secret Garden” and see the wonderful, knitted story of the Bible and history of the Salvation Army.

We had a wonderful weekend making new friends and contacts. Our crafts from Zambia and India, including our beautiful hand painted gift cards and “Made with Love” items sold well. These and several donations provided much needed revenue for the work of HHI – a total of about £300. We are indebted to the support and generosity of Chris and members of the Chapel for making the weekend such a happy and successful event.
