Advent – Everyone matters

But the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. (Luke 2:10)

The Advent story is about the involvement of various people. Some take a more prominent role than others, but all are relevant as individuals. Some we know by name, obviously Mary and Joseph and others such as the innkeeper and the shepherds are unknown to us. God loves each of us as we are, ordinary people. HHI seeks to help those that we know by name in India and Zambia and also many unknown individuals through various projects.

Thank you, Lord, that you know us better than we know ourselves. Thank you that during this time of the Advent season we can know that we are all special and valuable in your eyes. Amen.
