Advent hope

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)

Advent is a time of hope when people recall the waiting period for the promised Messiah and Redeemer, who came to reconcile us to God the Father and to one another. Jesus Christ – He Only Provides Eternity – is the reason that HHI exists to provide hope for those who are much less fortunate than we are. Christian hope is living an uncertain present in the light of a firm and clear future (Cardinal Vincent Nichols)

By providing finances for schools and funds for disabled children to attend we give hope to many that they will have a better future than the present where they are.

Hope makes all things work and gives the impetus for many to strive to better themselves, and to provide for their families.

We give thanks to God for all our supporters, without whom none of our work would be possible, and many people in India and Zambia would not be as well off as they are now.

Prayer

Lord Jesus Christ, the One who provides hope for eternity, and through Your people provides hope for today, we thank You for the work of HHI and for all those who have been helped over many years. We pray that we can continue to provide this hope for many more years.
