Boys Toilet for Choongo School

Choongo boys’ toilet is complete with ramp and handrails for disabled access. This new facility has been really appreciated by the students. They have finally been able to return to school following the cholera outbreak.  The head teacher Mr Muzila has sent a letter of appreciation for both the new kitchen and the toilet block which HHI have managed to provide for the school  in the last six months.

Mr Musila writes…. ‘We had no hope that one day our dream would come true. We continued using an old, dilapidated kitchen that posed a risk for both learners and the support staff. The Lord answered our prayers though the Health Help International working with Health Help Zambia. The structure is magnificent, and we will forever be grateful to you.

The construction of the modern and user friendly toilet for the boys is another project that we indeed are thankful. The speed with which these two projects were done shows the love and importance that you attach to the wellbeing of our learners. This shows the unshakable bond that we have created over the years. We are indeed grateful. May the almighty God bless the entire team.’
