DAY 3 Wednesday 13th September 2023

Following Prayers and singing in the lounge so that Nik could film the HHZ staff singing a Tonga song of praise at the HHZ compound, and few smaller trips we went to Monze Mission Hospital with the stoma items and surgical gloves aprons, wipes etc for general hospital use. We had brought them with us in our six 23 kg suitcases. Donated them outside the hospital to a senior nurse.

Filmed in the children’s ward and saw the fruit trolley being wheeled in to feed the poorly children. Nik interviewed Memory who is a nutritionist and she explained that the hospital  also uses  our monthly funding towards providing a weekly cooking demonstration session for mothers . She shows  them how to prepare healthy nutritious food for their children so that when they have been discharged from hospital care they will continue to thrive. Practical feeding and education.
