It’s great to hear that Thanal House is still providing a loving home for many destitute women, despite the lockdown which is severe in India. Many of these women have serious psychiatric problems.

They recently had a bit of excitement – as Salini says: All is well. One of the ladies has become a little violent. Yesterday she broke her bedsheet. In the violent time she destroyed plate, glass, toilet bucket, as well as beating other ladies. Monthly 2 or 3 time she do like that. Sometimes it will continue for one week.

Gave sedation she is sleeping.

Despite the trials and tribulations, the life of the home is continuing. The ladies help with the chores, and in the evening they are able to enjoy themselves together or on their own, as these videos show – helping with the laundry, chopping firewood, playing badminton, or singing on the swing.
