Feeding means achieving

HHI provides three Zambian schools with monthly funds to enable their students to have a midday meal.  Nanga Special School, Mumba school (which has many orphans and vulnerable pupils) and the school at the Holy family physiotherapy centre each receive £160 every month to buy mealie meal, vegetables and fruit. The meals for the students are prepared by house- mothers, parents and staff. The teachers have confirmed that there has been noticeable improvement in the pupil’s overall academic performance. They express their gratitude to HHI and would like our supporters to know that because the students are eating each day they are concentrating and engaging in their classroom activities. The staff are very keen to continue with this feeding initiative as attendance is higher and there are better educational outcomes for the learners.

They do bring their own  plastic containers to school each day to  receive their food.
