Susan has recently retired from the Intellectual Property Office in Newport. She originally trained as a patent examiner but has extensive experience in strategy, planning and quality management. She is hearing impaired and has a particular interest in promoting equality of opportunity and inclusiveness – especially for the disabled. She now lives in London and spends her free time walking, visiting museums, playing the piano and knitting for charity.
Susan first became aware of HHI’s activities through Edmund Plummer when they were both members of the IPO’s Christian Fellowship, a group that Susan chaired for many years. She was invited to become a trustee in 2005 and never ceases to be both amazed and humbled at God’s goodness in answering prayers.
