Making a difference – penultimate day – Part Two

Robbie making a difference.
Having seen the need for the disabled students at Choongo school to be seated while having their mid-day meal and not be expected to stand, we suggested that Robbie could use his skills to fix wooden seats to the metal frames which were lying in disrepair in the school storeroom. This morning Frank and Robbie collected the 10 frames from the school and brought them to the compound. Robbie feels that he can transform them and deliver them back to the Choongo dining room.

Time together with HHZ Staff
As this is our penultimate day before we head back to Lusaka airport, we thought it would be good to share a midday meal with the staff. It was a traditional Zambian meal of fried chicken, vegetables, coleslaw, all beautifully prepared by the HHZ ladies with Nalukena as head cook. For dessert we were treated to a surprise – a delicious cake made by Brenda!!!
