My name is Mpofu T. Mwansa a Zambian born in a family of 3 girls and am the first child of my parents.
I hold a Bachelors Degree in Social Work, certificate in project management, certificate in ITC and a certificate in Psychosocial counseling .
I joined HHZ in 2021 as a student on attachments.
During my internship, I gained transferable skills and knowledge that enabled me to provide personal, physical and emotional support to people with disability on a regular basis and also to help them feel independent, confident and a part of their community.
I later went back to school to write my final year exams. Upon completion, I the joined HHZ as a volunteer in 2023 for 8 month.
My years of experience in social work and counseling has provided me with an imperative first-hand knowledge and sharpened my risk assessment, record keeping, and decision-making abilities.
I take pleasure in contributing to the wellbeing of vulnerable and disabled individuals.
