Muumba School Update

Mr Bbilika, the head teacher at Muumba Community School, has sent us an encouraging update about the feeding programme there.

As Muumba school, we really appreciate your tremendous support .The successful feeding programme has greatly improved the education standard of the school and some of these are:-

PARENTS/GUARDIANS: The parents/guardian of learners are truly happy for this donation. Parents have sacrificed to come up with the free preparation of food.

LEARNERS: About 87% of the learners are orphan or vulnerable children and hence have particularly appreciated the different, delicious and nutritious food from school. The programme has also reduced the number of absenteeism.

TEACHING STAFF: We humble ourselves to receive such a wonderful and great donation for our learners.

Apart from enjoying the delicious meals, learners have improved their health standards. This is a wonderful privilege which is rarely obtained from other community schools.

The grade seven results analysis will be submitted to you in few days time. The feeding monthly reports have been given out to HHZ team.

We would also like to thank the HHZ team’s organized and hard working .We are really pleased about how they conduct their duties and this has improved the organization.

Wishing you a prosperous and successful 2022.

Remain blessed.

Mr. Bbilika B.

Each month we send out 3,000 Kwachas (about £125) which feeds about 300 children each day. That’s just £6 a day, £30 a week! £5 will feed a child for a year!
