Santa Claus comes to Kerala

The tuition groups that the Friends of the Banyan Tree and Strathaven Friends of HHI fund have continued to provide backup for state education, which is often of poor quality, as much as possible during the lockdown, helping to give children the best possible start in life. But it’s not all hard work for the children – there are fun and presents as well! Here we can see the Christmas celebrations at Undappara, Cherapally and Aryanad – Vanda tuition centres.

Father Christmas has been working double shifts, also visiting the children of Happy Valley, our special needs centre at Kalathara.

The children are mainly distance learning, but they were able to come together for some Christmas celebrations.

We have also been distributing food to the needy families of the disabled children. But that’s another story!
