Happy news for Happy Valley

Happy Valley, our special needs school in Kerala, India has operated out of rented buildings for a number of years. This has not been ideal – the buildings are not always the most suitable, leases are short, and it is becoming increasingly difficult to find buildings large enough to accommodate the school as it grows.

Recently our Indian partners, The Banyan Tree, have been offered a large former school building to buy at a good price. This would entitle them to receive a Government grant, enabling the work to continue and to expand. The price is still daunting, but they are confident that they can raise a good part of the cost themselves if we provide the rest. Please pray for us as we consider this exciting new chapter in our work in India.
