Happy Valley update – not so happy

The trustees decided to go ahead with the building purchase that we describe earlier, but sadly a building survey revealed that the building was badly built.  It will need a lot of money spending on it to get it up to standard, and a lot of future maintenance.  In view of this our Indian partners decided not to buy it.

It is a set-back, but we are not discouraged.  Philip and the team in India have gone back to Plan A, to buy a plot of land and build a purpose-designed centre on it.  But they will also see if another suitable building comes on the market at a realistic cost.  Please pray for them as they search.  We will let you know how they get on.
