With August just around the corner, our thoughts turn again to the much-anticipated Round Strathaven Charity 50 & 15 cycle event which will take place this year on Sunday 20th August.  HHI trustee and committee member Iain Park, joint founder of the RS50 and participant since the first RS50 in 2002, is again fully involved in this exciting occasion.  He will, once more, be ably assisted by Jute and Alun Williams.

Over the years the RS50 & 15 has, without fail, raised impressive funds for HHI.  Even during Covid restrictions in 2020, a ‘virtual’ event was organised. Now that’s commitment!  Indeed, since the first RS50, a magnificent total exceeding £40,000 has been gratefully received to aid the ongoing work in India and Zambia.

This year, a record number of participants have signed up; numbers exceed 8,000 to date!  So, HHI wishes every single pedal pushing participant ‘North of the Border’ an enjoyable and exciting day.
